More and more studies and other teachers across the world are finding students becoming more confident and successful with the support of tools that let them go at their own pace. MobyMax is a great support for this. My students are having gained confidence by completing lessons and practice sets that are geared towards their needs.
When I am working with another students, while I have some students on MobyMax, I often hear an exiting voice say, "Miss Breneman, I got 90%!" It is a great feeling to look over at that exciting voice and see a big smile on their face. You can tell that this was a big accomplishment for them. I always encourage my students to give their best and when they do it usually pays out positively for them. When it is time to get off the computer and switch groups, I sometimes hear students groaning because they don't want to leave the lesson they were working on.
I highly suggest parents/caregivers to have students work on MobyMax at home on a computer or tablet. If you don't have a computer at home, the library would be a great place for students to work on math or ELA on their computer's library. While you are at the library, it would be a opportune time to let your child or children pick out some great books for them to read at home to help them improve their reading.
I have sent home the MobyMax parent/caregiver letters for your student to work on MobyMax at home on the weekends, or on any breaks.
