My name is Miss Angela Breneman. I have a strong passion for helping, teaching and learning. I have an Associate Degree in Human Services from Baker College. I also obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a specialty in Special Education- Emotional Impairments and a minor in Language Arts from Eastern Michigan University. While at EMU, I worked with kids with cognitive impairments and emotional behavioral needs for 6 years. I have been a part of the ACS family for a couple of years. I have participated in summer school, after school program, student taught, and helped out at many different after school and weekend events at Albion Community School.
When I am not in the classroom interacting with students, I enjoy spending time with my family of five cats, a dog and my supportive fiancé. You may see me occasionally walking my little dogs, playing tennis, or volunteering in the community. I also enjoy reading a good book, playing with technology, creating activities for my students to do on the computer, Promethean ActivTable, and making hands on activities. I also like doing research on ways to better support my students and their learning, or playing games on my game systems. I love to have fun and laugh. I plan on incorporating some of the things your child likes and I like into our learning. I am a lifelong learner and want to share the power of knowledge with students I service.
If you want to check out some of my activities I have created visit Exceptional Education Station on Teachers Pay Teachers.
